Too Tired to Sit Up :)

The craziness of this week is even affecting our Kayleigh Girl.  She's been falling asleep sitting up during some of her pre-nap protests.

What a week.  What a month!  July has proven to be a very busy month for our family.  It's all been wonderful things, but it's been exhausting.

On Monday, I began a 3 week long ESL teaching opportunity.  God has truly blessed us with the many ways He has provided for our family!  I'm enjoying donning my teacher hat again and spending time in the classroom with bright little faces.  My current students barely speak any English at all, and are between 6 and 8 years old.  They are so precious!  I'm thankful for the time that I get to spend with them, and thankful for the extra income this means for my family.  God is good!

Juggling Kayleigh during this time is going to be interesting.  Monday was Jesse's day off, so he kept her at home with him.  Yesterday we took her with us and juggled her between the two of us.  The ESL program staff are so sweet and understanding, and since I was a last minute addition to their program, they are grateful for me and very accommodating.

My mom and sister Kate came to spend the night with us last night and will be taking care of Kayleigh while I teach today.  Kayleigh will love all of that extra attention, and it makes me feel better about leaving her.

July has no promise of slowing down, but it's filled with good things like birthday parties, weddings,  and Jesse's church installation, and I'm looking forward to the rest of it.

  3. Sounds like a busy but fulfilling month! So cute how Kayleigh just flopped over like that. I know how she feels.

  4. The baby juggling can be really tough! Clear communication is key.
Definitely enjoy your opportunity to teach!
