MIA

I fell off the boat last week.

Sorry about that.

It's been a crazy 10 days!

Between keeping up with my roly poly baby girl,  the first day of teaching an online writing course through a Christian university, the death of a dear friend, a 4 day migraine, and my husband receiving his very first Call to a congregation, life has been pretty busy in the Brubaker home.

But I'm back!

And I have lots of exciting things to share with you.

Including a post about Kayleigh's first trip to the beach

Two wonderful days of family visits

And I'm sure I'll be sharing thoughts about our last day (tomorrow) at our current church

But right now, I'm mostly excited about getting to share a wonderful giveaway from Dayspring with you tomorrow!

So be sure to check in before all of the Oscars fun begins, and enter for your chance to win a $20 credit to Dayspring's beautiful online store!

    1. Thanks, Heather! We sad/excited time to be going to the new church. It is a blessing that Jesse is called this time--hopefully, it will make a difference! The new church also has a completely different perspective about youth ministry. I hope God will do great things there!

    1. Hehe, I've got some bruises, but I'll be ok! Today was the last day at our current congregation, and I had to go out and buy WATERPROOF mascara specifically for it! We will miss many dear people there...

It's been pretty crazy. Sorry that I've missed out on SweetTalkin' Sunday for the second week in a row. I love participating in it. Hopefully I'll be back with something fun next week! ♥

  5. How exciting that Jesse received a call! In youth ministry or another area? I'm sorry about your Papa--is this your dad's father? I'll be praying for your family.

    1. Thanks, Christi! It is bittersweet. The church Jesse has been working at for the past 4 years has been telling him for the past year+ that he may not have a job "within the next few months" so living like that has been kind of scary! But we've been blessed with so many dear friendships, it will be hard to leave. Looking forward what to see what He has planned for us in this new church! They have never had a youth minister before, and are really excited. Jesse will basically be building a youth program from ground zero. But that's what he's good at, so I'm excited to see what he can do with God's help!

My dad's father, Papa Chuck, passed away two years ago. God was so good, though! Papa's story is really amazing (it's a long one, but worth it if the kids are all asleep!) Papa Don is my mom's step-dad. But yes, please keep my Gramma in your prayers :)

I hope you new life with 3 little ones is even more wonderful than your life with two!
